Valencia Basket secured the win on the MoraBanc Andorra’s court with a 75-107 win in a game where they led from start to finish, showcasing a convincing collective performance on both ends of the floor, with every player scoring and stifling the home team’s offense for long stretches.

Although the orange team quickly took control of the match, the home side capitalized on Kuric’s shooting to tie the game and keep it close in the first quarter. Three consecutive three-pointers at the start of the second quarter allowed Valencia Basket to begin building a lead, with points from Taylor and De Larrea that the team extended with easy fast-break points, heading into halftime with a significant advantage.

That lead continued to grow in the third quarter, as they kept scoring effortlessly while minimizing the home team’s offense, moving around the thirty-point mark and protecting the lead in the final period, never easing off the accelerator to conquer a court that had been particularly tough for our team in recent seasons.

Post-Game quotes: Pedro Martínez

“It was a game we played well. I think what made a big difference in the first half was our accuracy from three-point range. I think Andorra started the game well, doing things very well, both in offense and defense, but hitting the ten three-pointers we made in the first half gave us a break, gave us a lead at halftime, which I don’t think we fully realized at the moment, but it really turned out to be decisive.

In the second half, I think they didn’t see many chances to win, and we recovered a lot of balls, scored quite a few easy baskets—not as many from three—and it was an important victory for us. We came in with a lot of respect for Andorra because they had been playing very well in their recent games, and we knew it could be a tough match, as it has been on this court over the past two years, where Valencia Basket had lost.”
